Digipack Layouts

For the back cover we could use a layout like this:

Or a layout like this:

Album cover inspiration - Digipack

The inspiration for our digital pack/album cover were silouehettes. This form of imagery is very common in Rock albums for bands such as Fall Out Boy,Linkin park and All Time Low.
This album cover just has a photograph of all the band members standing around silouetted by the light behind them.
This is not an Album cover but an EP/extended play cover for a single the band have released, the cover is just the band walking through a tunnel they are silouetted because of the light at the end of the tunnel.
This is also an EP which is not a silouette but the main point of the cover has no characteristics which is what we are interested in for our digi pack.
This album is not silouetted either but does not show much from the dark blue colour and the expressionless band members.
This sillouetted image is quite summery and upbeat such as our song will be.

Age limit

The target audience we are aiming for is between 12 and 16 years old, this sort of song appeals best to a young teenage audience. It wouldnt really be listened to by older audiences, because of the pop music and artist singing.

Analysis of music videos B.O.B-Airplanes.
This video is very smoothly cut together, the use of projector light/imaging, the pace of the song matches the video, which is very fast paced and punchy. This keeps the viewer locked into watching the video all the way to the end. Elvis Presley-Suspiscious minds.
There is strobe lighting behind the singer. Elvis is the only person in this music video, which keeps your attention on him, and makes it less cluttered.
For the video, we used one of the college's HD camera, to film our music video.

We also used a tri-pod to keep the camera steady during filming, and at the right height, as using a hand held camera looks unproffesional.

We used a dolly to move smoothly around the green screen

This is an example of what the Rock God could've looked like

Rock God by Selena Gomez

This is the finalised version done by Selena Gomez of the song Rock God originally written by Katy Perry.
Our group agrees this version is not nearly as strong and powerful as the original recorded by Katy Perry.
neither version has a video for the song. They are only recorded and placed with a picture of the artists/relative things to the song.

Katy Perry Wikipedia

Katy Perry (born Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson; October 25, 1984) is an American singer-songwriter and actress. Born in Santa Barbara, California she began to pursue a career in music after finising high school. She later recorded an album with production team The Matrix and completed the majority of a solo album from 2004–05, the later of which was never released. Perry is the first female artist to get five hits on the Billboard Hot 100 in one year.

she adopted the stage name Katy Perry and released her first Internet single "Ur So Gay" November 2007, which garnered public attention but failed to reach the charts. She rose to fame with the release of her second single "I Kissed a Girl" in 2008, which went on to top international charts. Perry's first mainstream studio album One of the Boysfollowed later that year and subsequently became the 33rd-best selling album worldwide of 2008.

Selena Gomez went to great lengths to get Katy Perry's song "Rock God" on her latest EP.
Katy Perry gave selena gomez a song called 'Rock God.' Selena told MTV News of the tune, which also features Katy's backup vocals. she actually had to fight for that song. she wanted it so bad. It's kind of funky,
